John Randall, the Principal Consultant for the Technical Glass Group, is an experienced glass professional with many years of work and educational experience in glass manufacturing, including the use of several glass types in specialized technical products for the medical products divisions at General Electric and Philips.
John specializes in process improvements and problem solving, focussing on the design of glass products, how they’re made, what they’re made of, and how to fix them when they break. He also specializes in process developments for efficiency improvements and cost reductions. His knowledge of glass chemistry and property relationships allows him to match product needs with glass types, and to recommend proper shapes and dimensions to make the best product.
